In 2014 we expanded our operations to include a 33-acre farm in Cedar Grove five miles from the original garden site. The farm has enabled us to grow our mission by increasing the number of people we engage through our HarvestShare CSA program, and the ways we are able to educate interns about sustainable agriculture on a larger, more commercial, scale.

Chas and his family live on the farm, where they have their own pasture-based livestock business, Eden’s Meats. They  raise chickens for meat and eggs, turkeys, and pigs. The presence of these animals allows for increased soil fertility, which in turn allows for increased vegetable-growing performance.
